A derby game between Liverpool & Everton in the 1920's was the first ever football match where the both sides came out on to the pitch together.

SOUTH LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB..Garston(Its now being turned into a massive transport interchange and will be the most environmentally one in the country)
I'm sure was the first ever team to have a floodlit pitch!

Football Nets...were invented by Liverpool man John Alexander Brodie in 1892!

Everton were also the first club to install under soil heating.
