British Waterways’ proposals for an 1100m canal, a new navigable channel, linking the Central and South Docks, now forms an integral part of Liverpool Visions masterplan for the Pier Head area. The design of the Canal Link has been evolving for quite some time. It is one of a number of planned initiatives bringing new life to the Pier Head and the City of Liverpool.
