While many other tower blocks across Merseyside and the UK are being brought down, some in Liverpool are actually adding on extra floors.
In Sefton Park, three social housing blocks are so popular they are being extended by at least one floor and possibly an extra three.
It will create between 12 and 21 penthouse flats with spectacular views across the park, the city and across to Wales.
