A £40m development has been unveiled for Liverpool. The scheme for 300 apartments aims to transform one of the city centre's last remaining industrial areas. A spokesman for architects Down Variava said: "This is a massive investment by Windsor Developments. "We feel there is a real demand for this type of residential property and it will help to rejuvenate a key part of the city centre. "We hope to gain planning permission very soon and begin clearance of the site before construction begins after the summer." Further along Wapping is the proposed Kings Waterfront site, which also includes an apartment complex.
