THE £40m regeneration of Scotland Road and Great Homer Street is a step closer after the appointment of a developer. 
St Modwen Developments has been selected from a shortlist of five by Liverpool council as preferred partner to lead the Project Jennifer scheme.
Plans include a new supermarket, smaller shops, a new market hall and community facilities such as a health centre on the Taylor Street industrial estate and nearby land.
A full master plan will be produced after consultations with the local community.
