AN UNDERGROUND viewing platform could be built alongside the remains of Liverpool's first wet dock.
The unique tourist attraction may form part of the £750m Paradise Street development.
Developers from the Duke of Westminster's company, Grosvenor, plan to excavate and then flood part of the dock built by Thomas Steer in 1715.
The remains of the dock currently lie under the Canning Place fire station but will be exposed when work starts on Grosvenor's redevelopment of Chavasse Park.
