Yeah, you must of seen him acting camp and talking about spirits on that UK Living channel on Sky. Me Mum loves watching him - I buzz of him when he pauses to look over your shoulder and then says "thank you, kind spirit".

But get this: I read this from his offical website (read below)

"His first supernatural experience came as a child, when the spirit of his late grandfather visited him.
His early career was playing professional football with teams such as the legendary Bill Shankly's Liverpool Football Club and the premier Australian team USC Lion."

Read an interview with Derek and he only started to use his powers when he had to retire from professional football. He signed for the Reds at 15 and laughed about his psychic abilities "because I just wanted to play for Liverpool."

He once scared the life out of Emlyn Hughes: "I warned Emlyn I was getting an image of him writing off his new car. The next day he came into training shouting 'You're weird, you are' at me. He'd crashed his car into a lorry. Shanks then told me never to talk about anything I foresaw to fellow players again."
