A LIVERPOOL pilot is attempting to break an aviation world record by landing at 100 UK airfields in just 100 hours.
Ray Sheldon, 50, who earns a living flying charter planes, will undertake the feat in a light aircraft in July.
He will take off in Blackpool and fly down the western side of the country, along the south coast and back to the North West.
