THREE times the number of foreign students have enrolled at John Moores University compared to two years ago.
The university claims this is due to Liverpool winning the European Capital of Culture title.
Around 540 new overseas students enrolled on courses in 2003, a 200pc increase since 2001 and a recordbreaking intake for JMU.
