Liverpool has the fastest job growth rate in the country and its only getting better!
Figures released today by The Mersey Partnership show:
* More than 7,000 people have found jobs in Merseyside in the past year.
* In the past 12 months Merseyside's claimant rate fell three times faster than the UK average - the largest decrease of any English city region.
* The rate of growth in Merseyside's jobs sector stands at 11% over the past five years - the fastest rate in the country.
* In the past 20 years 112,874 people have been removed from Merseyside's dole queues.
