A TREE-LINED boulevard will greet visitors arriving in Liverpool from the M62 once a £6m project has been completed.
Work is due to start on improving Edge Lane Drive in late summer.
The busy road, the main route into the city from the East, is being tackled in three distinct parts.
The first will involve the stretch from The Rocket to Mill Lane, which is currently blighted by cars parking on grass verges at the side of the road.
