2004
- £20 million investment in JL Airport again!
- £75 million new construction at the Boulevard Industry Park!
- Construction will soon begin on the 2 OTHER buildings on The Matchworks Development

- Work will start on a devlopment of offices on HANGAR 4
- Work begins on Garston, Under the bridge..construction of houses.

2004/ 2005
- Construction of new business space at Venture Point.

2005
- £32 million Littlewoods Home Shopping operation..moving into Hangar 2 creating 1200 jobs.
- New transport hub due to open in Garston on the old South Liverpool FC ground.
- £30 million National Boimanufacturing Centre to open at the Estury Park.

2006
- Passenger numbers through the airport expected to reach 4.5 million!
- Production of the Landrover Freelander starts at Jaguar Halewood, creating 1000 jobs.

2008
- New Mersey crossing expected to open.

2010
- Line 3 of the Mersey tram could open in the area.

It's all good news!!!!!

its great that so much investment is coming to the area. lets hope the jobs go to local people and the change impacts on the whole community and actually provides real jobs and real income that can then be spent locally.
we dont want these firms coming in lured by cheap rates and then getting workers coming from all over the area. ints the communities in speke and garston that need to employment
