IT IS, perhaps, best known on Merseyside as a purveyor of tracksuits and trainers but clothing manufacturer Lacoste is hoping a new store in Liverpool will change its image in the region.
The company is opening a sportswear store with a look created by a renowned Parisian architect. The concession inside the Wade Smith store on Mathew Street will be Lacoste's largest retailing space in the UK.
