SEVEN sons of Liverpool are included in the 2004 Rich List. Highest ranked at number 21 is John Moores and family with a fortune of £1.24bn, the same as last year.
The Moores family made their money from the Littlewoods stores and mail order business, as well as the Littlewoods pools.
The others in the Mail on Sunday's list are:
* Sir Paul McCartney, £725m, up from £685m, ranked 43. His 2002/ 2003 Back In The World tour made £60m in the US alone.
* John Hargreaves and family, £661m, down from £711m, ranked 48. Hargreaves used to run a Liverpool market stall and went on to found clothing chain Matalan.
* Paul Raymond, £590m, up from £555m, ranked 56. The porn king, who launched London's Raymond Revue Bar, grew up in Liverpool as the son of a Liverpool lorry driver. He is now more interested in property than publishing.
* Steve Morgan, £304m, up from £247m, ranked 137. Building tycoon Morgan was born in Garston and has a stake in Liverpool FC.
* Wilf Corrigan, £204m, up from £186m, ranked 204. The son of a Merseyside docker, Corrigan spent his early life in the area but now lives in California. He founded US silicon chip company LSI Logic.
* Alan Murphy, £185m, same as last year, ranked 224. Lives in Monaco having made his money out of toilet paper manufacturing at Skelmersdale.
