A LIVERPOOL boutique hotel has won one of the most coveted awards in the country.

The Hope Street Hotel has been given the Good Hotel Guide's 2005 Cesar Award for Newcomer of the Year.

It will feature in the latest edition of the Good Hotel Guide, published today, and the award will be presented at a launch party in London on Thursday.
