Redgrave will officially open the Liverpool Victoria boat house.
John Carruthers, who has been rowing at the club since 1948, said everyone there was thrilled by Redgrave's visit.
He said: "It isn't the first time he has been here - he came after he won his first gold medal - so to have him here again is absolutely wonderful.
"We have a large junior section and they're all absolutely thrilled to be able to meet him."
