A 27-year-old designer from Liverpool who discovered computers through playing video games has been named the Designer of the Year.
Daniel Brown is a multimedia designer whose work over the past decade has established him as one of the leading figures in his field.
Three other designers were on the shortlist including former Liverpool football star Craig Johnston, who designed the best-selling Predator football boot.
