MERSEYSIDE'S very own media Oscars will be decided next week.
The Merseyside Media Network holds its first awards ceremony at the Holiday Inn City Centre, Lime Street, on Friday, June 11.
Journalists from the region's newspapers, television and radio stations will be honoured at the charity event sponsored by Littlewoods.
More than 200 people will attend the ceremony hosted by former national news editor Ken Bennett, who is the founding secretary of the MMN.
