A GROUP of talented vocalists from a Liverpool school re-wrote the musical record books yesterday - before heading to London for a live national performance on Top of the Pops.
The St Francis Xavier Boys' Choir is the first of its kind to receive the prestigious Gold Disk award, just a week after releasing England's Euro 2004 anthem All Together Now with Liverpool band The Farm.
In total, 24 members of the 42-strong choir - aged from 11 to 18 - recorded vocals for the track at Elevator Studios in Liverpool city centre, before filming a promotional video.
