Just got back to the states after going home to see the river festival.Thought it was outstanding. What does impress though is the change taking place in Liverpool itself,especially in the area of the Pier Head. So much cleaner,a definate move for the better. Facilities are very much improved. One down side is that if Liverpool fancies itself as a tourist Mecca in the near future then store closing times need to be staggered. To be out all day checking attractions out and get back into town in time to see the stores close at six,is dissapointing. Apart from that it was great to be home for a few days.
