CAINS brewery owners Sudarghara and Ajmail Dusanj have been crowned Entrepreneurs of the Year for turning the Toxteth business round.
They won one of the country's business Oscars in the north west heats of the National Business Awards, sponsored by mobile phone group Orange, in Manchester.
They now go on to compete to be National Entrepreneurs of the Year in London in November.
The Stanhope Street brewery had made losses for a decade, but two years after the brothers bought it Cains was back in profit and is consolidating its brand with a string of awards and new products, including the UK ' s longest- brewed lager launched last month.
