A LIVERPOOL computer expert has won contracts to design and maintain websites for organisations in New York.
It means that Ian Johnson has to regularly fly from his base in Toxteth to the US to update the sites he has designed for the New York Board of Fire Underwriters and the New York Fire Patrol.
He has also won the contract to design and look after the website for another US organisation, the Northeast Camping Institute.
His business, Bard Interactive, is fast emerging as a leading force in the Information Technology (IT) arena across Merseyside.
Mr Johnson lived in New York for eight years. He said: "Clients are looking for the wow factor."
