THERE aren't many people who could get away with calling Cherie Blair a "bolshy Scouser."
But it's a pet name her Prime Minister husband uses - and she's only too proud to be reminded of her Scouse roots.
Today is Cherie's 50th birthday and to mark her half-century she's planninga busy day - of work.
"My celebrations at Chequers the other day were very low key," she said.
"On my birthday itself I will be presenting the Grandparent of the Year award in London and then there's an event in the evening involving 10 charities I am closely involved with."
Cherie returns to her hometown regularly and is loyal to her friends.
