MERSEYSIDE saw an overall 10% reduction in crime last year, Home Office figures revealed yesterday.
Levels of robbery, burglary and vehicle crime were all reduced, with robbery cut by a fifth.
Merseyside Police also got better at investigating crime with a 2.1% increase in the number of offenders brought to justice.
