A CONFERENCE will be held on Monday at FACT in Liverpool city centre, focusing on the opportunities available to the creative sector in the run-up to 2008.
Called Capitalising on Culture, it will feature presentations from Northwest Vision, ACME, The Culture Company and the North West Development Agency.
Liverpool filmmakers Paul Morrissey, Colin McKeown and Stephen Marsden will also speak at the seminar.
The conference has been set up by Downtown Liverpool in Business (DLiB), in association with the NWDA.
DLiB chairman Frank McKenna said: "Our role is to bring the private sector and public sector closer together, and this event is a demonstration of the support we are receiving from both sides."
